Ideal CrossFit offers a foundations class to help beginners transiton to CrossFit style training. This class is kept small so a new athlete can learn the basic movements that make up the core of CrossFit. The pace is slow and athletes are given large amounts of personal time from the head coach so that there can be a smooth transition to the CrossFit classes. After completing the foundations class an athlete will join any regular CrossFit class that best suits their schedule.

 

Training

Ideal CrossFit is USAW certified, meaning we specialize in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. These movements are the cornerstone of making an athlete extremely powerful. We offer a weightlifting ONLY class from 3-5 pm weekdays. This program does not have any CrossFit style conditioning in it. Its sole purpose is to produce an athlete that is bigger, stronger, and faster. This program has increased volume and will maximize an athlete's potential to lift heavy weights. Bodybuilding exercises are also part of this program in order to optimize physique and to ensure the athlete has enough muscle mass to be successful in sport. This class that can be used after an athlete has CrossFitted for a few months and is looking to get stronger so they can become more competitive at the sport of CrossFit. A new member may want to participate in weightlifting only; they can do so. If an athlete has a primary sport, like wrestling or football, then this program would be the ideal off season training program for them. Weightlifting is a sport/training system that is focused on speed, power, and precision. The skills and strength gained from our weightlifting class can be used for any other sport.
